WORLDWIDE: Bahamas Local Post from Chub Cay, one of the smaller islands in the Berry Island Group. An attractive set of 3 imperforate stamps without gum, issued in 1982 from the short-lived postal service (about 6 years). This set of 3 & a souvenir sheet were all the issues produced. Since few local souvenirs were available to tourists, these stamps proved popular as a means to show that someone had visited Chub Cay. Fewer than 300 sets of these stamps are in collectors’ hands.
